The Bishop of the Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan in Yei says vulnerable citizens with low income could not flee to neighbouring countries for refuge.

Many poor citizens could hardly afford to pay transport fare to Uganda, Hillary Luate, stresses, Radio Easter reports.

He says a transport fare for a big truck locally known as “tipper” is costing over 45,000 South Sudanese Pounds.

The Bishop made the statements in a meeting between church leaders and UN delegation.
